When the Earth dies, where will you live?

how the trash centers should look that we put in different places, and it will sort of be like a “red box” and everyone will have there own account. But now it will be a Green box!

and this is what the screen on the machine would say something like this

A View on Sentara’s Social Media Policy

Reading through Sentara’s social media policy, I found that there was useful information and ideas that could contribute to our social media policy. Below are some of the key points and ideas I took in from reading their policy.

 1. Their policy implies to anybody including employees and public who post to their site.

 2. Each individual employee is responsible for following all of the social media guidelines posted on their Intranet and failure to do so results in termination of employment.

3. Anyone who posted to the social media site had to be atleast 18 years of age.

 4. Employees were expected to respect local, state, federal and international laws and regulations.

 5. Confidential information and material is not to be displayed or shared amongst any other person. No private data should be given over this media site.

6. They have a right to monitor, delete, discontinue, block, terminate, suspend or restrict any user of this social media site.

7. They are allowed to publish,  reproduce, display, and create derivatives of any content posted on the media site.

 8. You may not provide any content to this site that contains any product or service endorsements or any content that may be construed as political lobbying, solicitations or contributions.

9. This policy can be changed at any given time without notice so it suggests checking the policy in moderately frequent intervals.

10. They are not allowed to transmit any virus, worms, or disabling code that would destroy or limit functionality of the computer software and hardware.

Here is the link to their policy http://www.sentara.com/Policies/Pages/SocialMediaPolicy.aspx. Their policy was very descriptive of what can and cannot be done and it gave some insight for our media policy. It provides information about patented or trademarked information not being used on their site. It also has information about not putting viruses on the site which could be helpful in our policy to keep our site safe and other user’s computers safe. This policy also allows for no solicitors on the site which would be a great addition to our policy. Do you agree with some of the ideas that Sentara has provided to be applied in our policy?
